This one-day in-person conference will address challenges in the context of the current ever-changing environment, and offer inspiration on how to continue to support self and others, especially those living with trauma. It will seek to promote how we can create and maintain foundations and common practices within individual departments as well as across the organization.

The RIGHT RESPONSE Workshop is primarily prevention training. The Advanced Level 4 training is a full 14-hour certification which provides the skills of Prevention, De-escalation, Postvention and Physical Interventions, including Escorts and Therapeutic Holds. Attendees learn to use physical intervention as the last resort to maintaining safety and learn more proactive alternatives which can prevent dangerous incidents and increase safety.Attendees that complete the workshop receive a 1 year certification and recertification training will be offered annually.

The RIGHT RESPONSE Level 3 Workshop is primarily prevention training.  This 11-hour certification provides basic skills including Prevention, De-escalation, Postvention, and Physical Safety skills. Attendees learn about self-awareness, reflective thinking skills, positive behavior support, basic and advanced de-escalation skills, self-protection, and proactive alternatives which can prevent dangerous incidents and increase safety.Attendees that complete the workshop receive a 2-year certification.
