Trauma-Informed and Healing-Centered Fundamentals Training
This course provides examples of on-the-ground applications of trauma-informed and healing-centered principles and concepts. Each of the commonly recognized Six Key Principles of Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) are discussed during the training, as are foundational concepts behind the Healing-Centered Approach.

1. Describe how using a trauma-informed and healing-centered approach can lead to building trusting supportive relationships and positive outcomes.
2. Define and describe the Six Key Principles of Trauma-Informed Care.
3. Define the healing-centered approach and discuss its relationship with trauma-informed principles.
4. Identify strategies to incorporate trauma-informed and healing-centered practices into our daily lives.
