Shamelle joined the Alliance for Child Welfare Excellence in May 2022 as a project coordinator. She has a bachelor of science in health from Howard University. Shamelle is originally from Tacoma but relocated to the East Coast as a child and currently resides in Delaware. She has also lived in Florida and Georgia and loves hot weather.

Prior to joining the Alliance, she worked at a digital marketing agency as a project manager, at a management consulting firm as an administrative assistant and at Georgia State University on the administrative side. When she’s not working, she likes scouring the web for vegetarian recipes, traveling, trading, reading mystery thrillers, and exercising.
