Deanna Morrison - arabian@uw.edu
Deanna has been a Washington State employee for 27 years. Children and Families have always been her passion. She started her career in 1994 with Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration as a residential counselor. Then in 2002, she was hired by Department of Children, Youth and Families as a social worker. Deanna has a lot of experience within child welfare and specializes in foster parent and caregiver community advocacy. Deanna has advanced her career as well as her passion in working with foster parents and the caregiver community as a curriculum development and facilitation specialist for the Alliance.
Outside of her career, Deanna shows nationally Arabian and Half Arabian horses and has done so since she was young. She travels as far as Louisville, Kentucky, and as close as Monroe, Washington. This is a hobby she and her parents enjoy together and they own several Arabian horses.

This course is an 8-Part Series “Caring for Children Who Have Experienced Trauma” scheduled
Each part of this 8-part training series must be taken in order, as the information builds upon itself. Registration will be reviewed and if you have not met this requirement, you will be notified, and your registration will be canceled. If you cannot attend all parts in order, please contact a trainer to work out scheduling.
Please note: If Part 1 is open for registration the course is available. You will not be able to register for parts 2-8. This will be done for you.
