The session will begin by establishing a basic understanding of neurodiversity, sensory processing, and regulation. By understanding sensory processing and sensory systems are a universal human condition, we can have a discussion of the 8 sensory systems, including ways that people can seek or avoid sensory input as a means of self-regulation. The conversation closes with ideas to help support regulation in daily life and in preparation for summer fun.
